there is no greater birthday present than coming home from grabbing some bday breakfast and having our neighbor’s cat Lucas sitting in front of our door wanting to be pet 😭😭😭 ever since Baby died, every time I see Lucas (who looks a lot like him) I get really happy, so this was such a great gift for me 🐰😭🙌🏼 #vscocam

following my niece’s to do list today 😌🍿🍭

food experiment 🔮 i had to use these purple potatoes before they went bad during my mega cooking day today, but i’m sick of roasting food. (i mean, it’s spring now right?) so i made this potato salad instead 🥔 boiled potatoes, white beans, thin sliced red onion, halved olives (my fave), leftover parsley, coconut bacon from the #edgyvegcookbook which i just finished making, a tahini dressing, lemon, s&p. 🍃💜 and if the dressing looks too thinned out, that’s because it is 😛 (i’m tryna make it last ok?) #whatveganseat

i’ve been trying to simplify what i’m working on - getting back to the big stuff (@chickpea_mag) and doing less side projects and saying no to nearly everything i’ve been pitched. i’ve felt so much more focused and productive and like my work has a sense of direction and purpose. it does feel more like all my eggs are in one basket, but the free weekends and ability to focus during the week is beyond amazing 👍🏼💻🗓✍🏼 and yes my lunches always look like a mess irl 😂 #vscocam #rocgirlgang
