Fall Camping

I’ve been a fan of cold-ish weather camping since I was a kid - it feels so good to be in the frigid air when you’ve got a warm blanket, a hot drink, and a campfire in front of you. (And we were inspired by one of our favorite chill anime.) But I’d never gone as late in the season as November before, so it was exciting to see how different it’d be.

The first night, we ran out of wood before it got dark (at FOUR pm), and we woke up freezing cold. But being surrounded by the most amazing red and orange trees and autumn sunlight was SO worth it. We went on a little easy hike but mostly made a lot of good food and drank warm drinks for the weekend.
